The global community faces pressing challenges related to climate change, resource depletion, and environmental degradation, all of which are closely linked to how we generate and consume energy. To address these pressing issues, it has become important for individuals and households to take proactive measures to minimize their energy consumption. However, despite this growing awareness and urgency, many people find themselves lacking the necessary tools, knowledge, and insights to make informed decisions about reducing their energy use.
The challenge at hand is twofold. Firstly, many individuals and households are unaware of the nuances of their energy consumption and may not have access to the necessary data to make informed decisions. Secondly, even when energy data is available, understanding how to interpret it and implement effective energy-saving strategies can be a challenging task.
Our solution is the development of a user-friendly and data-driven application that takes the data provided by users regarding their energy consumption, types of appliances in use, and other relevant information. This application will process the data and provide users with personalized recommendations for reducing their energy consumption. These recommendations may include adjustments to usage habits, tips for optimizing appliance settings, and suggestions for replacing old or inefficient appliances with more energy-efficient alternatives.
